How to save a confirmed shift to your phone's calendar in the Guard Mobile App? – GuardsPro Support Center

The Save to Calendar feature in the GuardsPro Guard Mobile App allows guards to add their confirmed shifts directly to their device's calendar. This makes it easier to keep track of upcoming shifts and receive calendar reminders before a shift begins.

📌 Prerequisites

Before saving a shift to your calendar, make sure:

You are logged in to the GuardsPro Guard Mobile App.
You have at least one confirmed shift assigned to you.
You have access to the calendar app on your mobile device.
Calendar permissions are enabled for the GuardsPro Guard Mobile App when prompted.

✅ Follow the steps below to save a shift to your phone's calendar using Guards Mobile App.

Step 1. Open Your Schedule

Log in to the GuardsPro Guard Mobile App.
From the Home screen, tap Schedule.

Step 2: Select Time Off

On the Schedule screen, you will see a list of available options, including:

All Shifts
Unconfirmed Shifts
Confirmed Shifts
Open Shifts
Exchange/Offer Shifts
Time Logs
Time Off
Time Cards
Payroll

Tap Confirmed shift to view the list of confirmed shift by you.

Step 3. Select a Confirmed Shift

Locate and select the confirmed shift you want to add to your calendar.
Tap the shift to view its details.

Step 4. Save the Shift to Your Calendar

Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner.
Select Save to Calendar.
If prompted, allow the GuardsPro Guard Mobile App to access your device's calendar.

Once saved, the confirmed shift will be added to your device's calendar. You can open your calendar to view the shift details and any available reminders.

📌 Note: The shift details screen also provides additional options, such as Exchange Shift, Offer Shift, and Call Off Shift, depending on your company's configuration and permissions.

⚠️ Important Notes

Only confirmed shifts can be saved to your device's calendar.
Make sure you select the correct shift before choosing Save to Calendar.
Calendar access may need to be allowed in your device settings.
The shift will appear in your device's calendar after it has been successfully saved.
Calendar notifications and reminders are managed through your device's calendar settings.
