How can the notes functionality be used in Guard Mobile App?

The Notes feature in the GuardsPro Guard Mobile App allows security guards to record important on-site observations, updates, and information. Notes can be shared with admins or back-office users when needed or kept for the guard's own reference.

Guards can create notes using text and attach audio recordings, images, or video files to provide additional details or documentation.

📌 Prerequisites

Before using the Notes feature:

• Make sure you are logged in to the GuardsPro Guard Mobile App.

• If you plan to add attachments, make sure the required media or recording is available on your device.

✅Here's a step by step instruction to manage notes functionality in the Guard Mobile App:

Step 1: Navigate to Notes

1. Log in to the GuardsPro Guard Mobile App.

2. From the Home screen, tap Notes.

Step 2: Create a New Note

The Notes screen displays your existing notes.

1. Tap New Note at the bottom of the screen to create a new note.

After tapping New Note, enter the relevant information and add any supporting media as needed.

1. Enter a title for the note.

2. Enter the relevant information in the description field.

3. To add an attachment, tap the Plus (+) icon.

4. Select the type of media you want to attach:

   • Audio Recording: Add a verbal explanation or incident details.

   • Image: Add visual documentation of site conditions or observations.

   • Video: Provide a more detailed view of an event or situation.

5. Review the note and any attachments, then save the note.

Step 3: Edit or Delete a Note

You can edit or delete an existing note when needed.

1. From the Notes screen, tap the note you want to manage.

2. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.

3. Select Edit to update the note details or attachments.

4. Select Delete to permanently delete the note.

Important: Review the note before deleting it, as deleted notes may no longer be available for reference.
