How to Check In and Check Out to a post site in the Guard Mobile App?

The GuardsPro Guard Mobile App allows guards to quickly check in to their assigned post sites and access the tools they need to complete their assigned duties during their shifts or while patrolling.

Once checked in to a post site, guards can access the available features and complete assigned activities, including:

• Site Tours – Complete assigned site tours and scan the required tags.

• Reports – Submit reports related to their assigned duties.

• Post Orders – View and acknowledge post orders and instructions.

• Tasks – View and complete assigned tasks.

• Pass Down Logs – Submit and review relevant pass down information.

• Visitor Logs – Record and manage visitor information, when available.

• Chat – Communicate with authorized Back Office users or other guards currently checked in at the same post site.

Note: The features and options available to each guard may vary based on the permissions and access configured by the Admin or Manager from the Back Office Dashboard.

Prerequisites

Before checking in, make sure:

• You are logged in to the GuardsPro Guard Mobile App.

• You have been assigned to the required post site by your employer.

• Location/GPS permission is enabled for the GuardsPro app on your mobile device.

• You are clocked In for your assigned shift

• You are within the required geofence, if a geofence has been configured for the post site.

✅ Follow the steps below to Check In to the post site in the Guard Mobile App.

Step 1: Open the Post Sites section

After logging in to the Guard Mobile App, tap Post Sites from the bottom navigation menu.

You will see a list of the post sites assigned to you.

Step 2: Select the Post Site

Tap the post site where you want to check in.

Step 3: Check In to the Post Site

On the Post Site Details screen, tap Check In and then confirm the check-in prompt.

Once your check-in is successful, you can access the features and information available for that post site, such as Site Tours, Reports, Post Orders, Tasks, Checklists, and other features enabled by your employer.

Note: If the Clock In Before Check In setting is enabled for the post site, make sure you clock in first before checking in to the post site.

Geofence Note: If the post site is configured to require a geofence for check-in, make sure you are within the green area shown on the map in the Guard Mobile App before attempting to check in.

Step 4: Check Out of a Post Site

Once you have completed your assigned tasks and duties, you can check out from the post site.

Tap Check Out and follow the on-screen prompt to complete the check-out process.

Note: If check-out is configured to require a geofence, you must be within the designated geofence area of the assigned post site when checking out.

Important Notes

• You can only check in to post sites that have been assigned to you.

• If the Clock In Before Check In setting is enabled, you must clock in before checking in to the post site.

• If geofence-based check-in or check-out is enabled, you must be within the designated geofence area when performing the respective action.

• Make sure GPS/location services and location permission are enabled for the GuardsPro app.

• The features available after checking in may vary depending on the settings and permissions configured by your employer.

• Keep your location services enabled while performing your assigned duties to help ensure that applicable location-based activities are recorded correctly.
