How to confirm open shifts via Mobile App?

The Open Shifts feature in the GuardsPro mobile app offers a streamlined solution for managing last-minute scheduling needs. It allows security guards to pick up extra shifts based on their availability, helping maintain coverage and meet client requirements efficiently.

Open shifts are unassigned shifts posted by admins or back-office users through the GuardsPro system. These shifts are instantly visible to eligible guards within the mobile app. Guards receive real-time notifications as soon as the open shifts become available. This enables quick action and helps ensure that all client requirements are met, even at the last minute. 

This feature streamlines scheduling by:

• Increasing transparency of available work opportunities
• Empowering guards to express interest in open shifts
• Reducing administrative effort in filling last-minute or vacant shifts

✅Here's a step by step instruction to confirm open shift via Mobile App:

Log in to the GuardsPro mobile app. From the Home screen, tap on the Open shifts icon.

There will be a list of available open shifts that the guards can take from.

Now, the guard once selects the shift, he will have to click on the Take shift button that appears at the bottom of the shift details screen.

On clicking the take shift option, the request has successfully been sent to the admin or back office user.

Note : The shift will only appear in the 'Confirmed Shifts' section of the mobile app once it has been approved by the admin via the Back Office dashboard.
