The Panic Button feature on the Guards Mobile App enables guards to quickly communicate with their security team for immediate support or guidance during patrols. With a single press, guards can instantly alert the admin, share their real-time location, and ensure prompt assistance and effective coordination.
Once the Panic Button is pressed, a buzzer notification will appear on the Back Office Dashboard, indicating that a guard has triggered the Panic Button for the checked-in post site. The guard’s icon will also blink across all maps—dashboard, post site map, and profile map—making it easier for the team to track the guard’s location and respond without delay.
Note: Panic Button feature is only for non-emergency purposes. In case of an emergency, please dial 911 or contact local emergency authorities.
✅ Step-by-Step guide to use the panic button on the Guard Mobile App:
To activate the Panic Button, simply hold the panic button located on the Post sites tab for 3 seconds to activate Panic Mode.
Note : You must be checked into a post site to use this feature.
Once activated, the admin will immediately receive an alert on the Back-Office Dashboard, including the post site details and your live location. The admin can then contact you directly for assistance.
The Panic Button will remain active until you manually deactivate it. To deactivate, long-press the icon again.
