GuardsPro charges based on the number of guards. Changes to a subscription such as upgrading or downgrading can result in prorated charges.
For example, if through the billing period, you upgrade from a 5 guards per month subscription to a 10-guard option, you’re charged prorated amounts for the time spent on each option, adjusted in the next billing cycle, which by default is the start of your billing month.
You will be billed for 5 guards to the date of the subscription change and for the rest of the month at the new price of 10 guards.
In case of downgrading the subscription, the refund is issued in the next billing cycle.
The standard plan starts at 3 guards, so any changes will be applicable starting your second month.
The prorated amount is calculated as soon as the API updates the subscription.
