How to enable geofence-based clock-in for guards on the Back Office Dashboard?

GuardsPro provides the convenience of allowing guards to clock in only when they are within a designated geofence, ensuring accurate attendance and location verification. By enforcing this restriction, admins gain flexibility and control while also benefiting from:

Before enforcing geofence‑based clock‑in, make sure:

• Geofences are already created for your post sites.

• Guard Entry/Exit Notifications are enabled from the Back Office Dashboard.

• GPS/location services are active on guards’ devices.

👥 For All Guards

🧭 Step 1: Access Settings  

• Click on your Company name at the top‑right corner of the dashboard.

• Select Settings from the drop‑down.

⚙️ Step 2: Navigate to Global Settings & Enable Geofence Clock‑In  

• Go to Global Settings.

• Navigate to Security Guard.

• Under the Time Clock section, select Enable Clock‑In inside the geofence option.

• Click Save.

👤 For Individual Guards

👥 Step 3: Access Security Team  

• From the main menu, click on Security Team. 

• Select Security Guards from the drop‑down.

• Click on the security guard for whom you want to enforce the geofence clock‑in restriction.

👤 Step 4: Select Guard Profile & Enable Geofence Clock‑In  

• Navigate to the Setting tab.

• On the Settings tab, under the Time Clock section, select Enable Clock‑In inside the geofence.

• Click Save.

💡 Please Note: You can also enable the Clock-Out Inside the Geofence setting on the pages mentioned above to require guards to clock out only while they are within the geofence.
