The Shift Status feature in GuardsPro allows you to monitor and manage the confirmation status of standard shifts assigned to guards. Once a shift is published, the assigned guard receives a prompt to confirm the shift through the mobile app. This helps ensure accountability and attendance. Please note that this feature applies only to standard shifts and not to open shifts.
To access this feature, go to the Scheduler module from the left-hand menu and click on Shift Status. You will see a list of all scheduled shifts along with their confirmation status.
You can use the filters to narrow down results by client, post site, guard, or a specific date/time range. If you frequently use specific filter combinations, you can save them for future use by clicking Save Filter. These saved filters can be accessed under the Saved Filters tab.
However, please note that the date and time range will not be saved with the filter. You will need to manually select the date and time each time you use a saved filter.
As an admin, you have full control over the shift statuses. You can confirm a shift on behalf of a guard, unconfirm a shift if changes have been made, or delete a shift entirely if it is no longer needed. These actions can be done in two ways.
1. You can perform them in bulk by selecting multiple shifts using the checkboxes and then choosing the desired action from the Action dropdown.
2. Alternatively, you can manage each shift individually by clicking on the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the shift and selecting Confirm, Unconfirm, or Delete as needed.
If you’d like to save or share the shift data, you can export the list by clicking on the three-dot menu (⋮) at the top-right corner and selecting Export as PDF or Export as Excel.
Additionally, if needed, you can email the report directly from this screen by selecting Email Report, choosing the file type, and entering the recipients’ email addresses.
To summarize, admins can view, confirm, unconfirm, and delete standard shifts, while guards can only view and confirm them through the app.
