How to enable shift delay notifications on the Back Office Dashboard?

GuardsPro’s Shift Delay Notifications ensures that whenever there is a delay in shift clock‑in/out, both the admin and the assigned guards are notified instantly on the GuardsPro Mobile App and the Back‑Office Dashboard.

This notification can be enabled globally for all guards or individually for specific guards, giving admins complete flexibility.

📌 Prerequisites

Before enabling shift delay notifications, make sure:

• Guards are already added to the Back Office Dashboard.

• Guards have scheduled shifts assigned to them.

• Notifications are enabled for the relevant users.

• Guards have an active internet connection on their devices to receive notifications.

👥 For All Guards

🏢 Step 1: Access Settings  

• Click on your Company name in the top‑right corner of the dashboard. 

• Select Settings from the drop‑down menu.

⚙️ Step 2: Open Global Guard Settings & Enable Shift Delay Notification  

• Navigate to Global Settings and click Security Guard.

• Under the Notifications tab, select Send shift delay notification before option.

• Define the time after which guards and admins will receive a notification for the shift delay.

• Click Save.

👤 For Individual Guards

👥 Step 3: Access Security Team  

• From the main menu, click on Security Team.

• Select Security Guards from the drop‑down.

• Click on the security guard for whom you want to enable the shift delay notification.

👤 Step 4: Select Guard Profile & Enable Shift Delay Notification  

• Navigate to the Settings tab. 

• Under the Notifications section, select Send shift delay notification before option.

• Define the time after which guards and admins will receive a notification for the shift delay.

• Click Save.
