In GuardsPro, each client can have one or multiple post sites, which represent the physical locations where guards are deployed. For example, a department store chain like Home Depot may have several branches across a city or state, and each branch would be treated as a separate post site.
Post sites allow admins to create post orders, assign guards, set up site tours, manage tasks, add notes, and much more. Instead of manually entering all existing post site data, GuardsPro provides the option to import post site data directly into the Back Office Dashboard for faster setup and management.
✅ This guide will walk you through the steps to import post site data to the Back Office Dashboard:
🧭 Step 1: Navigate to Post Sites
- Click on the Clients tab in the main menu.
- Select Post Sites from the dropdown.
- On the next screen, click on the three‑dot menu next to Filters and select the Import option.
📂 Step 2: Upload CSV File
- The client needs to download the CSV file from here before proceeding.
-
While uploading, make sure that:
- All post site details are added correctly.
- Required fields include: client name, post site name, contact name, and address.
- The country code is added with the mobile number.
⚠️ Note: The client must download this CSV template, add the data into it, and then upload the file to ensure proper formatting and successful import.
💾 Step 3: Complete the Import
- Once the CSV file is uploaded, the post site data will be imported into the dashboard.
- All imported post sites will now be visible under the selected client, ready for use in creating post orders, assigning guards, and managing operations.
🎯 That’s it! Importing post site data in GuardsPro is quick and efficient, saving time compared to manual entry. By using the CSV import option, admins can ensure accurate data entry and streamline the setup process for multiple post sites.
