Dispatch Tickets allow guards to receive and manage tasks assigned by dispatchers directly from the Guard Web Portal. Once a dispatch ticket is assigned, guards receive an instant notification and can access the ticket details from either the GuardsPro Mobile App or the Guard Web Portal, enabling faster coordination and quicker responses to on-site incidents.
Using the Guard Web Portal, guards can review dispatch ticket details, update their status, communicate with dispatchers through live comments, and stay informed of ticket updates—all from one centralized location.
✅ This guide will walk you through the steps to handle dispatch tickets from the Guard Web Portal:
Step 1: View Your Dispatch Ticket Notification
Log in to your Guard Web Portal account and click the Notifications (bell) icon located in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
A notification panel will open, displaying all your recent notifications. Whenever a dispatch ticket is assigned to you, it will appear in this section for quick access.
Step 2: Check In to the Assigned Post
Click the Check-In button located at the top of the screen next to the timer.
A list of your assigned post sites will appear. Click Check-In next to the corresponding post site where you need to respond to the dispatch ticket, then confirm your selection.
Note: You must be checked in to the assigned post before you can handle a dispatch ticket.
Step 3: Open the Dispatch Ticket
After successfully checking in, navigate to the Dispatch menu from the left-hand navigation panel.
A list of your assigned dispatch tickets will be displayed. Select the recent assigned dispatch ticket to handle.
Step 4: Review the Dispatch Ticket Details
The dispatch ticket details page provides important information, including:
- Dispatch ticket details
- Assigned post site
- Dispatcher instructions
- Ticket status (Open or Closed)
- Additional dispatch information
To update your progress, click On the Way when traveling to the location or Arrived On Site after reaching the assigned post. Your status update is shared with your administrator or dispatcher in real time.
Step 5: Add Live Comments
After updating your status, you can add comments directly to the dispatch ticket to provide updates or communicate with your dispatcher.
Comments are synchronized in real time, allowing administrators and dispatchers to view and respond through the GuardsPro Back-Office Dashboard.
Tip: Tip: You can also attach images or videos to provide additional details or evidence while handling the dispatch ticket.
Step 6: View Ticket Updates
Click the Notifications icon and refresh the page to check for the latest dispatch ticket updates.
If your administrator or dispatcher adds a comment, mentions you, or updates the ticket, you'll receive a notification. Click the notification to open the ticket and review the latest changes.
Step 7: Reopen a Dispatch Ticket
If you need to continue working on a completed or closed dispatch ticket, click Reopen Ticket in the top-right corner of the ticket.
The ticket will reopen, allowing you to continue updating its status, adding comments, and communicating with your dispatcher.
Step 8: Review Dispatch Ticket Status
You can also track the status of your assigned and previously handled dispatch tickets from the Dispatch section, making it easy to monitor both Open and Closed tickets.
That's It!
You can now easily manage your assigned dispatch tickets through the Guard Web Portal.
The Dispatch feature enables you to receive instant notifications, check in to assigned posts, review ticket details, update your status, communicate with dispatchers through live comments, and track ticket progress—all from one convenient location. Keeping your dispatch tickets up to date helps ensure efficient coordination and timely responses to field operations.
