The GuardsPro Guard Mobile App allows guards to complete their assigned site tours directly from their smartphones by scanning the designated checkpoints at their assigned post sites.
Site tours help ensure that guards regularly patrol designated areas, monitor important locations, and maintain safety, security, and compliance through systematic checkpoint monitoring.
Once an administrator creates and assigns a site tour through the Back Office, guards can use the GuardsPro Guard Mobile App to access their assigned tours, scan the required tags, submit checkpoint details, and track tour completion.
📌 Prerequisites
Before starting a site tour, ensure that you have the following:
You are registered in the GuardsPro Mobile App and have joined your employer’s company.
You are assigned to the relevant post site for your shift.
You are clocked in and have checked in at your assigned post site.
A stable internet connection and the necessary device permissions, including camera and location access, as required.
You are within the assigned post site's geofence boundary, if geofence verification is required for clock-in and check-in.
Your authorized admin or manager has created and assigned Site tour to you through the Back Office Dashboard.

Once you have successfully checked in, select Site Tours from the available options.

Open the Site Tours page to view the list of tours assigned to you.
Select the site tour you want to start to view its details.

The screen will also display the list of all assigned checkpoints.
Step 4: Scan the Assigned Tags
Once the site tour has started, follow these steps to scan the assigned tags:
Tap Scan QR Code option to scan the QR or NFC tags at each assigned checkpoint during your patrol.
Scan the tags according to their type:
QR Tags: Point your device's camera toward the QR code.
NFC Tags: Hold your device close to the NFC tag.
Virtual Tags: Scan based on your GPS location.
BLE Beacons: Scan automatically based on the beacon's proximity.
Step 5: Add Details for Each Tag

Here, you can:
Enter the required details for the checkpoint.
To provide additional information, add notes or attach images using the + icon, if needed.
Review the entered information and tap Submit to save the details.
If you don't want to add any notes, tap "Skip" to proceed to the next checkpoint.
Repeat these steps for each remaining assigned checkpoint until all tags have been scanned.
Step 6: Complete and Review the Tour
Once all assigned checkpoints have been scanned, the site tour will be automatically completed. Alternatively, you can tap Complete and confirm to finish the tour manually.
After completion, return to the Site Tours page to review the completed tour summary, which includes:
Actual Start Time: When the tour began.
Actual Duration: Time taken to complete the tour.
Total Tags : The total number of tags assigned to the tour.
Scanned Tags: Number of successfully scanned checkpoints.
Missed Tags: Number of checkpoints that were not scanned.
Important Note:
If you complete the tour manually before scanning all assigned tags, the remaining checkpoints will be recorded as missed. Make sure to review your checkpoint activity before confirming manual completion.
Important Notes:
Only one site tour can be active at a time. You must complete the ongoing tour before starting another.
If you miss a scheduled site tour, you can still start it after the scheduled time.
Once a site tour has been completed, it cannot be restarted. Any checkpoints that were missed during the completed tour cannot be scanned afterward.
Ensure that all assigned checkpoints are scanned and the required details are submitted to maintain accurate and up-to-date site tour records.
🎯 That's it!
