The Parking Manager feature in the GuardsPro Guard Mobile App helps guards efficiently manage and monitor vehicles within designated parking areas and lots.
Guards can add vehicle details, assign vehicles to parking lots and contacts, view existing vehicle information, add notes, and report incidents associated with a vehicle. This helps maintain accurate parking records and provides better visibility into vehicles at the post site.
π Prerequisites
Before adding or managing a vehicle, make sure you:
You have an active GuardsPro account and are logged in to the GuardsPro Guard Mobile App.
You are assigned to the relevant post site.
You have checked in at the assigned post site.
Parking Manager is available for your account and post site.
You have the required vehicle information available, including the license plate number.

β Follow the steps below to add a new vehicle or update an existing vehicle in the Parking Manager using Guards Mobile App.
Step 1. Navigate to Parking Manager
Log in to the GuardsPro Guard Mobile App.
Tap Post Site from the home screen.
Select your assigned post site.
Tap Check-In.
Once you are checked in, navigate to Parking Manager.
Step 2. Open Vehicles
After opening Parking Manager, the next screen will display the available options:
Parking Areas
Parking Lots
Vehicles
Incidents
Contacts
Each option displays a count showing the number of records available for that feature.
Select Vehicles to view existing vehicle details or add a new one.
Step 3. Add a New Vehicle
Review the list of existing vehicle in Parking Manager.
Tap an existing vehicle to view its details or manage information associated with that vehicle.
To add a new vehicle, Click Add Vehicle at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4. Enter Vehicle Details
Enter the required vehicle details, such as Make, Model, Year, Color, License Plate Number, QR Label, Parking Lot, and vehicle images, as applicable.
Assign a Parking Lot and Contact to the vehicle, if required.
Review the entered information to ensure all details are accurate.
Click Submit to save the vehicle.
π Note: Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory and must be completed before submitting the vehicle details.
Once submitted, the new vehicle will be added to the Vehicles list in Parking Manager.
Step 5. Edit an Existing Vehicle
You can update an existing vehicleβs information and add notes or incidents whenever needed.
From the Vehicles list, locate and select the vehicle you want to update.
Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
Select Edit Vehicle.
Make the necessary changes to the vehicle information.
To add additional information, select Notes and enter the relevant details.
To report an incident related to the vehicle, select Incidents and enter the required incident details.
Review the updated information and save your changes.
The vehicle information, notes, and incident details will be updated accordingly.
π Search for a Vehicle Using License Plate Scanning
Parking Manager also provides a license plate scanning option to help guards quickly search for vehicles.
Open the Vehicles section in Parking Manager.
Select the Scan option.
Position the vehicle's license plate correctly within the scanning area.
Make sure the license plate is properly aligned under the scan bar.
Once the license plate is positioned correctly, the app can scan it and search for the associated vehicle.
Important: The license plate must be add in the system and positioned correctly under the scan bar for the scan to work successfully.

Make sure you are checked in to the correct post site before accessing Parking Manager.
Enter accurate vehicle information, especially the license plate number, to maintain reliable parking records.
Assign the vehicle to the correct Parking Lot and Contact, when applicable.
When using the license plate scanner, make sure the license plate is properly aligned under the scan bar.
You can select an existing vehicle to view its details, add notes, or report an incident related to that vehicle.
Submitted vehicles cannot be deleted from the Guard Mobile App. They can only be managed by an authorized Admin or Manager through the Back-Office Dashboard (BOD).
