How to prioritize real-time guard notifications in the Guard Mobile App?

The GuardsPro Guard Mobile App keeps guards informed about important updates, tasks, and site activities through notifications. By managing your notification preferences, you can make sure you receive the relevant alerts through Push, Email, or SMS notifications, based on the settings enabled by your employer.

📌Prerequisites

Before managing your notification settings, make sure:

• You are logged in to the GuardsPro Guard Mobile App.
• Your GuardsPro account is active.
• Your employer has enabled the notification types and services required for your account.
• For SMS notifications, the SMS Module must be enabled by your security company from the Back Office Dashboard.

✅ Follow the steps below to manage real-time notifications in the Guard Mobile App:

Step 1: Open Settings

From the Guard Mobile App home screen, tap the three-bar menu on the left side.

Then, select Settings.

Step 2: Open Notifications

In Settings, tap Notifications.

Here, you can manage your available notification preferences, including:

• Push Notifications
• Email Notifications
• SMS Notifications

Step 3: Manage Notification Preferences

Open each notification type individually and turn the available notification options ON or OFF according to your requirements and your employer's instructions.

You can also use the Turn On/Off All Notifications toggle to enable or disable all available notifications within that notification category at once.

Step 4: Manage Push Notifications

Under Push Notifications, review the available notification options for your account.

Enable or disable the applicable notifications according to your employer's instructions and save.

Step 5: Manage Email Notifications

Under Email Notifications, you can manage each available notification individually.

By default, the Turn On All Notifications toggle is disabled. You can enable the toggle to turn on all available email notifications or enable/disable individual notification types based on your requirements and save.

Step 6: Manage SMS Notifications

Under SMS Notifications, you can manage the available SMS notification options individually.

By default, the Turn On All Notifications toggle is disabled. You can enable the toggle to turn on all available SMS notifications or select individual notification types as needed and save.

Important Notes

• The notification options available to you may vary depending on the permissions and notification settings configured by your employer.
• Follow your employer's instructions when enabling or disabling notifications.
• SMS notifications are available only when the SMS Module is enabled by your security company from the Back Office Dashboard.
• Turning a notification ON in the Guard Mobile App does not enable a feature or notification that has not been configured or made available by your employer.
• If you are not receiving a notification that you expect to receive, check your notification settings and make sure the required notification type is enabled.
• For Push Notifications, also make sure that notifications are allowed for the GuardsPro app in your device settings.
