How to add a security guard on the dashboard?

When you hire a new guard, the first thing you want to do is to add that guard to GuardsPro.

GuardsPro allows you to create a detailed profile for each one of your guards so that you can assign your guards to multiple post sites, add notes for future reference, manage guard licenses for compliance, define usernames and password for mobile app access, and much more.

It is really easy to add guards within GuardsPro, so let's get started.

To add a guard simply click on Security Team on the main menu and then select Security Guards. On the next page, you see the list of all the guards registered in the system. Click on the New Guard.


There are 4 ways you can add a guard to the system- inviting by SMS or email, sharing an invitation code, sharing a link to join the company or you can just creating a guard profile.

1. Invite
When you select the “Invite” option, all you need to do is enter the guard’s name, and mobile number, select how to invite the guard by - SMS or Email, and click Submit. 
You can also select the client and assign the post site to the security guard being invited from here. A registration code will be sent to the mobile number or the email ID through which the guard can register on the GuardsPro Mobile App.

Note, that you can also invite multiple guards together by simply clicking on the Plus icon and adding the details.

Join by Code
Using the “Join by Code”, the guard can directly register from the GuardsPro Mobile App, all you have to do is share the self-registration code shown on the screen with the guard. The invitation code and the link to download the mobile app are sent over a text message. The guard has to simply enter the invitation code on the mobile app while joining the company when prompted.

Note, you can also invite multiple guards together by simply clicking on the Plus icon and adding the phone number of the guards.


3. Invite Using Link :

With the “Invite Using Link”, you can easily invite the guards to register for the GuardsPro Mobile app via a unique invitation link. Simply share the link displayed on the screen with the guard. When the guard clicks the link, it will direct them to the sign-up page, where they just need to enter the required information to complete the registration process for the GuardsPro mobile app.


4. Create Profile
When you choose the “Create Profile” option, the admin can directly create the guard's account and share the username and password with the guard. You can also select the client and assign a post site to the security guard being invited. Next, the guard can log in to the GuardsPro Mobile App using these login details.
