How to check and acknowledge post orders in the Guard Mobile App?

Post Orders contain important instructions that guide security operations at a post site. They define the responsibilities, procedures, and expectations that guards need to follow while working at the assigned site.

In GuardsPro, admins can create or update post orders from the dashboard. Once updated, the post orders are made available to guards assigned to the respective post site. Guards also receive an in-app notification when a new post order is available, which can be accessed from the notification bar on the smartphone.

Prerequisites

Before viewing post orders, make sure:

• You are logged in to the GuardsPro Guard Mobile App.
• You are assigned to the relevant post site.
• You have checked in to the post site.
• The admin has added or updated post orders for the assigned site.
• Your device has an active internet connection to receive the latest updates and notifications.

Steps to View and Acknowledge Post Orders

Step 1: Open Post Orders

After checking in to the post site, go to the Post Sites tab.

Tap Post Orders to view the instructions available for the post site.

Step 2: View Post Order Details

You will see a list of post orders available for the post site.

Tap the post order you want to view to open its details and review the instructions provided by the admin.

Step 3: Acknowledge the Post Order

After reviewing the post order, tap Acknowledge to indicate that you have read and acknowledged the instructions.

Once the post order is acknowledged:

• The admin will be notified of your acknowledgment.
• You will be redirected to the main Post Site screen.
• You can then access post-site features such as Map, Panic Alert, Site Tours, and other available options.

Important Notes

• Make sure to carefully read the post order before acknowledging it.
• Post orders may contain important instructions related to your responsibilities and procedures at the assigned post site.
• You can only view post orders for the post sites assigned to you.
• If you do not see a post order or receive the notification, contact your admin or manager for assistance.
• Make sure your device has a stable internet connection so that the latest post order information is available.

Post orders are the instructions that direct the security operations on the post site by defining the responsibilities of the security guards. GuardsPro allows the admin to update post orders on the dashboard that are instantly visible to the guards on the assigned post site.

The guard is updated with an in-app notification which can be accessed right on the notification bar on the smartphone.

When logged in on the app, follow these steps to check post orders:
After you’re checked-in to the post site, on the post sites tab, click on Post Orders.

On the next screen, you see a list of post orders for the post site, click on the post orders to view the details.

You can now acknowledge the post order and the admin shall be notified about the same. Once that’s done, you’ll be directly taken to the main post site screen with map, panic alert, site tours etc.
