How to enable guard shift exchange without approval on the Back Office Dashboard?

The Exchange Shift feature in GuardsPro allows guards to swap their assigned shifts with other guards. Admins can either manually approve these requests or configure the system to auto‑approve exchanges. This ensures flexibility in scheduling and reduces administrative overhead.

📌 Prerequisites

Before enabling auto‑approval for shift exchanges, ensure:

• Guards are already added to the Back Office Dashboard.

• Shifts are properly scheduled in the GuardsPro dashboard.

• Admin has access to Global Guard Settings or individual guard profiles.

👥 For All Guards

🏢 Step 1: Access Settings  

• Click on your Company name in the top‑right corner of the dashboard. 

• Select Settings from the drop‑down menu.

⚙️ Step 2: Open Global Guard Settings & Enable Auto‑Exchange

• Navigate to Global Settings and click Security Guard.

• Under the Scheduler tab, select Allow guard to exchange shifts without approval.

• Click Save.

👤 For Individual Guards

👥 Step 3: Access Security Team  

• From the main menu, click on Security Team.

• Select Security Guards from the drop‑down.

• Click on the guard for whom you want to enable shift exchanges without approval.

👤 Step 4: Select Guard Profile & Enable Auto‑Exchange     

• Navigate to the Settings tab. 

• Under the Scheduler section, select Allow guard to exchange shift without approval.

• Click Save.
