The Notes feature under a guard’s profile in the GuardsPro Back Office Dashboard allows administrators and supervisors to record important information related to an individual guard. These notes act as an internal log for operational, performance, and compliance-related details.
Notes are typically visible only to authorized back-office users and are not part of public or client-facing data.
🌍Some main benefits of using notes are :
All relevant information about a guard is stored in one place, making it easy to review their background, behavior, and performance over time.
Dated and attributed notes help establish a clear audit trail for decisions such as disciplinary action, promotions, or reassignment.
Supports fair and data-backed performance reviews by tracking both positive and negative trends.
Supervisors and back-office staff stay aligned by referencing shared notes instead of relying on verbal updates or external documents.
✅ Step-by-Step guide to create notes under a guard :
On the main menu, click on the Security Team and then select Security Guards. From the list of guards. Click on the guard name under which you want to add a note.

On the next screen go to the Notes tab, and click on the New Note button to add a new note.

Now go ahead and add all the required details. You would want to add as much information as may be necessary for the guard to understand the note clearly. You may also add an attachment, if required. Click Add once you have mentioned all the necessary details. The guard will be notified of the note added on the GuardsPro Mobile App.

You can edit or remove a note, simply click on the three dots and select the appropriate option.
