How to enable skill set in scheduling on the Back-Office Dashboard?

The Scheduler in GuardsPro lets you assign shifts to guards based on their individual skill sets. This ensures that for each post site, you deploy guards whose qualifications match the client’s requirements and the demands of the assignment. 

With skill-set scheduling enabled, you can choose one or more guards with the needed skills when creating or editing a shift, leading to more accurate assignments and improved service quality.

✅Skill-based scheduling can be activated in just two simple steps: 

Log into your Back-Office Dashboard. At the top-right corner of your company name, click on your profile name. From the drop-down menu, select Settings. Then go to Other Settings. Turn on “Skill Set in Scheduling”

Once enabled, the scheduling module will automatically provide options to assign shifts based on guard skill sets.

Before You Begin Scheduling with Skill Sets

Before you can assign shifts based on skills, make sure:

• Skill sets have been created within the GuardsPro dashboard.

• Relevant skill sets have been assigned to guards. 

This ensures that when scheduling, only guards with the appropriate skills are considered.

Creating a Shift with Skill-Set Criteria

To assign a shift using a skill set:

1. Navigate to the Scheduler and begin creating a new shift.

2. Select the relevant Post Site.

3. Choose the required Skill Set for the shift.

4. The system will automatically display guards assigned to the selected post site who possess the chosen skill set.

5. Complete the remaining shift details and click Save.

This ensures that the most qualified guards are assigned to each shift, making scheduling more accurate, efficient, and reliable. And that’s it — you’re all set!
