Managing assets in GuardsPro is simple and helps you stay on top of the assets your organization needs. The Assets section in the Back Office Dashboard enables you to view, update, and manage all assets from one centralized location, ensuring accurate records and smooth operations.
✅This guide will help you to manage assets in the back office dashboard :
Log in to your Back Office Dashboard. Navigate to Asset Management → Assets.
Here, you can view a list of all added assets to your account. Click "New Asset" to create a new asset for your assets.
Next, you can use the Search bar to quickly find specific asset details of your account.
Click Filters to narrow down results by category, Status and asset status.
This makes it easier to locate orders, especially when managing multiple records.
⚙️ Manage Existing Assets
Further, you can manage individual assets using the three-dot menu (⋮) on the right side of each asset.
Available options include:
- ✏️ Edit – Update asset information such as the asset name, asset tag ID, or category, then submit the changes.
- 🗄️ Archive – Archive the asset for record-keeping.
- 🔄 Update Status – Change the asset status (for example, Broken or Repair complete), add notes if needed, and submit the update.
Bulk Actions
If you need to manage multiple assets at once:
- Use the checkboxes to select one or more assets.
- Click the Action dropdown.
- Choose the required action, such as archiving selected assets.
Export and Share Asset
Click the three-dot (⋮) menu next to the Filters option to access the following actions:
- Export as PDF – Download asset in PDF format
- Export as Excel – Download asset as an Excel file
- Print – Print the asset
- Email – Send the asset via email
Additionally, you can import assets directly from the same screen, allowing you to quickly upload multiple assets in bulk and efficiently add large sets of asset data in just a few clicks.
