The Asset Assignment feature allows you to assign assets to specific Guards or Post Sites, ensuring proper tracking, accountability, and return management. This helps maintain clear records of who is responsible for each asset and when it is due to be returned.
✅Follow the steps below to assign an asset to a Guard or a Post Site from the Back Office Dashboard:
Log in to your Back Office Dashboard. Go to Asset Management → Assets. Click on the asset you want to assign.
Navigate to the Assign tab on the next screen and On the top-right corner of the Assign screen, click the Assign button.
You will see the Assign Sites panel open.
Next, Under Assignment Type* (required), choose one of the following:
Post Site – Assign the asset to a specific site.
Guards – Assign the asset to a specific guard.
Depending on the selected assignment type:
If you select Post Site:
Choose the Post Site* from the dropdown (e.g., American Force).
Set the Return Due Date (if applicable).
Add any Notes (optional).
If you select Guards:
Select the Guard* from the dropdown (required).
Set the Return Due Date (if applicable).
Add any Notes (optional).
Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
After entering the required details, click Assign to complete the process.
Managing Assignments
You can view all asset assignments under the Assign tab.
Click the three-dot menu next to an assignment to:
Unassign the asset when required, or
Add the Return Date once the asset has been returned by the assigned guard.
This process helps maintain accurate tracking and ensures full accountability for all assigned assets.
Important Note:
Once an asset has been assigned to a guard, it cannot be reassigned to the same guard — even if the asset has already been returned.
