Once you have added post sites and the guards, the next step you want to do is to assign guards to that post site. Once the guard is assigned, the guard can check-in at the post site using the GuardsPro mobile app, execute patrols and start submitting reports.
It's really easy to assign single or multiple guards to a post site.
Assigning Guards To Post Sites Collectively
Collectively you can assign multiple guards to a post site in one go.
To get started, click on Clients on the main menu and select Post Sites from the drop-down. Next click on the post site where you want to assign a guard.
On the next screen select the Assign Guards tab and click on the Assign Guard button.
You can simply select single or multiple guards and assign them to a post site.
Or you also have the option to assign a guard to a post site based on the guard skill set or departments. For this, you'll need to make sure that the skillset or departments have been assigned to the guards. Check our article “how to assign skill set to guards” to know how to do that.
If the guards have already been assigned a skill set or department, you can proceed to assign the guards to the post site on these criteria. When you select a particular skill or department, only the guards with the defined skills or department will be shown.
Now simply select single or multiple guards from the drop-down menu as per your requirement, and click Save.
It's that simple. You have just assigned the guards to the post site.
To unassign the guard, simply click on the three dots and select Unassign and Confirm.
Assigning Individual Guards To Post Sites
From the guard profiles you can assign individual guards to post sites.
Click on Security Team on the main menu and select Security Guards. From the list of guards click on the guard you want to assign the post site to.
Now on the Assign Sites tab, click on the Assign Post Site.
Now simply select the client and post site and hit Assign.
And the post site is added to the list of assigned post sites for the guard.
