GuardsPro allows the clients to request shifts for special coverage from the Client Portal.
When the client requests a new shift on any of the post sites
- the admin or security manager is notified and
- the shift request is highlighted in blue on the Scheduler
To check shift requests click on the Scheduler and select Schedule from the drop-down. The shift requests are highlighted. Clicking on the shift gives you an overview of the shift.
To edit a shift, click on the three dots and select edit from the drop down menu.
You can add a name to the shift, edit the start and end time. The shift requested is open by default, you can leave it as it is or change it to standard to be able to assign the shift to specific guards based or not based on skill set or departments.
You can add in a break for the guards as well as add a note.
If you edit the shift, and then hit Update, the shift remains unpublished. The assigned guards, if any, will not be notified about the shift yet and you’ll need to publish the shift later when needed.
When you publish the shift, all guards assigned to the post site (for open shifts) and assigned shift (for standard shift) are notified on the GuardsPro Mobile App.
The shift is also visible to the requesting client on the client portal.
