The ability to edit attendance entries in the GuardsPro Back Office Dashboard is essential for maintaining accurate and reliable records. The clock-in/out log under Attendance is only available when a shift is assigned to the guard via the Scheduler, and the guard starts the shift from the guard mobile app by selecting the corresponding assigned shift. It allows administrators to:
- Correct errors in recorded attendance.
- Update missed clock-ins or clock-outs, ensuring shifts are accurately reflected.
-
Adjust entries for late arrivals or early departures.
All edited entries are clearly marked as modified for transparency and can be reviewed and approved directly from the dashboard. This ensures accurate payroll processing and comprehensive reporting, helping organizations maintain accountability and compliance.
✅Here's a step by step instruction to edit the attendance on the Back Office Dashboard:
Edit Guard Attendance Entry: Click on the Scheduler on the main menu and select Attendance from the drop-down menu. Click on an attendance entry and scroll down to see the details.
Now click on three dots and select Edit. Here you can edit the guard clock-in and clock-out time, breaks, and notes.
Once done, hit Save. The entry is marked as modified.
You can directly approve the entry- click on the pending status and confirm approval or you can go to Time Logs under Time Clock and approve the log entries.
Add A Guard Attendance Entry:
The admin can add guard attendance entry manually from the Back-Office Dashboard. Go to Scheduler on the main menu and select Attendance from the drop-down menu. Click on an attendance entry and scroll down to see the details. Now click the plus icon.
You can add an entry for a shift or a break.
The newly added time log is now visible under the 'Time Log' section within the Attendance tab. It is also reflected under the Time Log of the Time Clock on the main menu, marked as a manual entry.
To approve, click on pending status and confirm approval.
The approved entries are reflected on the Time Card and add to the guard hours.
