How to enable two-factor authentication on the Back Office Dashboard?

Keeping your GuardsPro account secure is essential for protecting your organization’s data and preventing unauthorized access. Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security by requiring an additional verification step when signing in to the Back Office Dashboard.

Once enabled, 2FA works alongside your password to provide stronger account protection and ensure that only authorized users can access the account.

📌 Note: This feature is only available in the Super Admin account. 

✅ This guide will walk you through the steps to enable two-factor authentication on the Back Office Dashboard:

🏢 Step 1: Access Settings  

• Click on your Company name at the top‑right corner of the dashboard.

• Select Settings from the drop‑down.

🔔 Step 2: Select 2FA Method  

Click on 2FA Method. On the next screen, choose your preferred authentication option:

• 📱 SMS/Text Option – Receive authentication codes via SMS on your mobile phone.

• 🔑 Authenticator App – Use an app or browser extension to generate one‑time codes or scan a QR code.

• 📧 Email Verification – Receive authentication codes via email.

Enter the required details for your selected method, follow the on‑screen instructions, and then verify your authentication method to secure your account.

👥 Step 3: Enforce 2FA for All Users  

As a Super Admin, you can require all back-office users to use two-factor authentication (2FA) when accessing their accounts:

• Click the toggle button to turn on the Force 2FA Sign‑in Policy for All Back Office Users.

• A confirmation prompt will appear — click Yes to confirm.

• Once enabled, all users must set up and use two‑factor authentication when signing in.
