Passdown Logs allow administrators and supervisors to review important information shared between guards and shifts. These logs help ensure continuity of operations by providing visibility into incidents, observations, and instructions recorded by security personnel.
Note: Passdown Log entries are only available in the Admin App when the Passdown Log setting is enabled in the GuardsPro web dashboard.
When this setting is enabled, guards are prompted to submit a Passdown log at the end of their shift, ensuring that important information and updates are passed on to the next guard on duty.
✅ This guide will walk you through the steps to view Passdown logs on the GuardsPro Admin App:
Step 1: Access Reports
Open the GuardsPro Admin App and navigate to the Reports section from the bottom navigation bar.
Step 2: Access Passdown logs
The screen will display several report categories, including General Reports, Incident Reports, Standard Reports, and Log Reports.
Scroll down to the Log Reports section and select Passdown Logs. This report displays passdown entries submitted by guards, allowing the next shift guard to stay informed about important updates, incidents, and instructions related to the post site.
Step 3: View Passdown Logs
The next screen displays a list of the most recent Passdown log entries submitted by guards. You can scroll through the list to review additional records.
Tap any entry to view detailed information about the passdown log, including the Log ID, date and time of submission, client name, post site name, guard name, and any notes or instruction recorded by the guard during their shift.
You can also view any attached multimedia files, such as images, videos, or audio recordings, included with the passdown entry.
Further, by clicking the three dots in the top-right corner, you can delete an individual entry.
Step 4: Apply Filters or Search option to Refine Reports
To view specific records, tap the Filter icon in the top-right corner, or use the search bar to quickly find entries by guard name, client name, or post site.
Use the filter panel to select the Client, Post Site, Guard(s), From and To date/time, and enable Show Archived Data if you want to include archived guards and their records.
Step 5: Manage Passdown Logs
The Action button at the top-left corner allows you to manage multiple records efficiently.
You can:
- Select All – Select all records at once.
- Delete – Permanently delete the selected passdown logs.
Note: Deleted passdown logs cannot be recovered. Before deleting any logs, carefully review your selection to ensure you are removing only the records you no longer need.
