The Geofencing feature in GuardsPro is designed to enhance guard accountability and site security by monitoring movement in real-time. It allows you to set up virtual boundaries around a post site using Google Maps. Once configured, the system tracks and records every entry and exit made by guards within the defined geofenced area.
This ensures that guards remain within authorized zones during their shifts, helping you maintain compliance, improve operational oversight, and receive accurate location-based activity logs.
✅ Step-by-Step Guide to check geofence logs on the Admin App:
Step 1: Access the Reports Section
Once you have logged in to the Admin App, tap the Reports icon located in the bottom navigation menu on the home screen.
Step 2: Access Geofence Logs
The screen will display several report categories, including General Reports, Incident Reports, Standard Reports, and Log Reports.
Scroll down to the Log Reports section and select Geofence Logs. This report allows you to review geofence activity and monitor whether guards entered or exited designated geofence areas during their shifts. It also helps verify whether guards remained within the assigned geofence boundaries throughout their working hours.
Step 3: View Geofence Logs
The next screen displays a list of the most recent geofence logs, including details of when guards entered or exited designated geofence areas, along with their recorded locations during shift hours.
You can scroll through the list to review additional records.
📍 Viewing Guard Location on the Map
By clicking on 'View Location "option available on the individual logs, you can see the guard’s exact position on the map at the specified time.
Note: If the guard’s location appears within the green-colored circle, it indicates that they were inside the geofenced area of the scheduled post site.
Step 4: Apply Filters to Refine Reports
To view specific records, tap the Filter icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
The Geofence Logs filter panel will appear, allowing you to customize your search.
Fill in the following fields:
Client – Select the client name.
Post Site – Choose the post site you want to review.
Guard – Select one or multiple guards.

Step 5: Manage Watch Mode Logs
The Action button at the top-left corner allows you to manage multiple logs efficiently.
You can:
Select All – Select all records at once.
Delete – Remove selected log records.
✨ That’s it! The geofence Logs provides a convenient way to monitor the guards enter or exit activities across your organization.
Note: Please ensure that the "Notify when guard enters or exits the geofence" setting is enabled for the post site in the web portal and that a geofence has been created for the respective post site.
Additionally, ask the guards to verify that:
Location (GPS) permission for the GuardsPro app is set to "Always Allow".
Precise Location is enabled on their device.
They are properly clocked in to their shift.
These settings are required for geofence entry and exit notifications to work correctly.
