The GuardsPro Invoicer allows security companies to easily create invoices and estimates for all services provided to clients. While generating invoices, administrators can also apply tax rates to calculate the total billable amount accurately based on chargeable work hours and services.
Administrators can add tax rates directly while creating products and services within the system. These tax rates are then automatically applied during invoice or estimate generation, allowing the system to accurately calculate the final total amount. This feature helps businesses maintain accurate billing records, comply with regional tax regulations, improve invoice transparency for clients, and streamline accounting and financial reporting processes.
✅This guide will walk you through adding a tax rate to the products and services on the Back Office Dashboard:
To add a tax rate for your invoices, navigate to the Products and Services section within the Invoicer module. While creating or editing a product or service, click on the Tax option and select the applicable tax rate from the existing list. You can also click on “Add New Tax” to create a new tax rate, or select “Non-Taxable” if tax is not applicable.
Next, in the pop-up window, enter the Tax Name and Tax Rate, then click on “Save” to create the new tax rate. Once saved, the newly created tax will automatically be applied to the selected product or service.
Manage Tax Rates from Company Settings
Further, you can manually add and manage taxes within the system by clicking on the company name located at the top-right corner of the Back-Office Dashboard and selecting Settings from the dropdown menu.
Now, select “Taxes” from the submenu and click on the “New Tax” option on the following screen.
Next, in the pop-up window, enter the Tax Name and Tax Rate, then click on “Save.”
You can also activate, deactivate, edit, or remove existing tax rates from the list. Simply click on the three dots next to the individual tax rate and select the appropriate option.
Please note that once a tax rate is deactivated, it will no longer appear in the pop-up window when selecting an existing tax for products and services.
