How to set up passcode and fingerprint in GuardsPro Admin App?

The Passcode and Fingerprint feature in GuardsPro adds an extra layer of security to your account. By enabling it, you ensure that only authorized users can access sensitive information on the app. You can set a 4‑digit passcode, configure how often the app requires it, and even enable fingerprint unlocking for convenience.

This guide walks you through the entire process of setting up and managing Passcode Lock, with screenshots placed at each step for clarity.

Step 1: Enable Passcode and Fingerprint

Log in to the GuardsPro Admin App. Tap the Profile icon located in the top-right corner of the home screen.

Navigate to settings and, select Passcode and Fingerprint.

• A confirmation dialog will appear asking: “Are you sure you want to enable passcode lock?”
• Tap Enable to proceed.

Step 2: Enter Verification Code

• Once enabled, you’ll be prompted to Enter Verification Code.
• Type in your chosen 4‑digit passcode using the keypad.
• If you forget your passcode, you’ll need to log out or reinstall the app.

Step 3: Re‑Enter Verification Code

• To confirm, you’ll be asked to Re‑Enter Verification Code.
• Enter the same 4‑digit code again.
• This ensures accuracy and prevents mistakes.

Step 4: Configure Passcode Settings

Once the passcode is set, you can customize how it works:

• Passcode Lock Toggle – Turn the lock on/off.

• Lock Timing – Choose when the app should require the passcode applied (options: Disabled, 1 min, 5 mins, 1 hour, 5 hours). 

  

  👉 Once you set the passcode lock frequency, the app will automatically lock itself according to your chosen timing.

  

   

• Unlock with Fingerprint – Enable fingerprint authentication for faster access. 

  👉 By enabling this option, you can conveniently unlock the app using your fingerprint instead of typing the passcode.

  

• Change Passcode – Update your passcode anytime.

Step 5: Enter Passcode to Unlock

• When the lock is active, you’ll see a secure keypad screen.
• Enter your GuardsPro GA passcode to unlock the app.
• Use the backspace key if you make a mistake.
