Within GuardsPro, admins or managers can set a guard's pay rate directly from the back-office dashboard. This feature ensures accurate payroll calculations and streamlines payroll processing.
By assigning a pay rate, the system can automatically calculate estimated wages based on hours worked, minimizing errors and saving time. The system allows you to set a guard’s pay rate either on an hourly basis or as a fixed salary, providing flexibility based on your payroll structure.
To begin, log in to your GuardsPro Back-Office Dashboard and go to the Security Team section from the main menu. Click on Security Guards to view a list of all registered guards. Locate the guard whose pay rate needs updating, then click on their name or select the three-dot menu next to their profile and choose View Details.
In the Guard’s Profile tab, navigate to the Pay Type section. Here, you can choose between an hourly rate or a salary for the guard. Next, enter the appropriate dollar amount based on your selected pay type.
Once you've entered the necessary details, click Save to apply the changes.
Note: The pay rate set as a salary amount is for record-keeping purposes only and is not linked to payroll processing.
By following these steps, you can efficiently manage guard wages and maintain an error-free payroll system.
