Post orders come handy when the supervisors or managers need to convey an important instruction to the security guard posted on a post site. Using post orders, the security guard can easily follow instructions related to his or her tasks.
Adding Post Orders
To get started, click on the Clients menu from the Dashboard and select Post Sites from the drop-down. Now you have the option to filter the post sites on the basis of clients, categories of post sites where the post order has to be added, and the status of the post site.
From the list of post sites, click on the name of the post site you want to add post orders for.
Now on the Post Orders tab click on New Post Orders.
You can now use the 'Copy From' option to duplicate post orders from the same post site or other post sites in one go. Please note that only the text will be copied—any attachments will need to be added manually. Once done, simply click 'Add,' and the post order will be added to the post site.
Additionally, you can save the post order as a draft and add it later by selecting the 'Save as Draft' option.
Note: Do not manually assign any guards to the new post order. This will enable the post order to be automatically assigned to the guard currently assigned to the post, as well as to any new guards added in the future.
You can also create a new post order from scratch and enhance it by adding tables, images, and links, which makes reading the post orders convenient for the guards. Once all details are entered, simply click 'Add' to publish or 'Save as Draft' to save it for later. It's that simple.
Editing or Deleting Post Orders
To edit or delete an existing post order, simply click on the three dots and select the appropriate option from the drop-down.
The guards will be immediately notified of any post orders, added or updated, on their GuardsPro Mobile App.
