The GuardsPro Mobile App enables guards to efficiently complete site tours directly from their smartphones. This feature is designed to ensure that guards perform routine patrols across designated checkpoints within a post site by scanning the assigned tags. It helps supervisors and clients verify that critical areas are regularly monitored for safety, compliance, and incident prevention.
Once the site tour has been set up by the admin via the Back Office Dashboard, guards can start scanning the assigned tags according to the schedule by following these simple steps:
To get started, select the post site and click Check-In. Once checked in, navigate to Site Tours.
A list of the assigned site tours is visible. You can start the site tour 5 minutes before the specified start time. Simply, select the tour you would like to start.
Now, simply click on the "Start Tour" option on the screen.
Once the tour has started, tap 'Scan' to scan the appropriate tag type—QR Tag, NFC Tag, virtual Tag, or BLE beacon—placed at the post site. To scan a QR code, point your device’s camera at it; for an NFC tag, simply hold your device near the tag. Virtual tags and BLE beacons will be scanned automatically based on your device and GPS location settings.
Once the tags are successfully scanned, the Tag Details page will appear with its detail. You can now add a note, attach images using the plus (+) icon for the respective tag, and click Submit.
Once all tags are scanned, the tour is automatically completed. If needed, you can manually complete the tour by tapping Complete and confirming. That's it! Completing an assigned site tour on the mobile app is that simple.
