How to enable notifications for guard’s entry or exit from the geofence for all guards on dashboard?

The geofencing feature lets you create virtual barriers on the post site with the help of Google Maps to mark the authorized within which the guard is allowed to move & restricted areas within which he isn’t allowed to enter. This ensures that the guard remains safe and compliant with the area accessibility as defined by the client. 

GuardsPro alerts you about the violations every time the guard enters or exits the geofenced area. 

You can enable the notifications collectively for all the post sites in one go or choose the setting for each post-site individually. 

Enable notifications for guard entry and exit from geofence for all post sites

Click on the company name on the top right corner of the dashboard and select Settings from the drop-down menu. 

Under the Global Post Site Settings tab, simply select the option “Notify when guard enters or exit geofence” and save settings. The changes will be reflected in all post site settings where you have created a geofence or would create one in the future.

Click on Clients on the main menu and select Post Sites from the drop-down. Now select the post site where the changes need to be made. 

On the next screen, click on the Setting tab. You can select the "notify when guard enters or exit geofence" option to enable notification or deselect the option to disable notification for the post site. The setting will override the setting for all post sites that we talked about earlier.

Once the setting is enabled, you will be notified of entry and exit from geofenced sites.
