GuardsPro generates payroll reports based on the guard hours, overtime and time off based on pay rate defined for each of the guards in the system.
GuardsPro currently integrates with 4 accounting and payroll software
- Intuit Quickbooks
- ADP Workforce Now
- Gusto
- Paychex
You can integrate your payroll directly to Quickbooks whereby the data is automatically imported to the payroll software once the integration is enabled. For ADP WorkForce Now, Gusto, and Paychex you are required to manually export the payroll data.
Before you start to export payroll data make sure you have enabled payroll integrations.
The first step to export payroll is to run payroll.
Click on the Payroll tab on the main menu and select Run Payroll from the drop-down.
From the filters, select the guard and date range and then click submit. You can select all guards or an individual guard. You are presented with payroll details for the selected filters. You can check the entry details by simply clicking on it. If you want to make any changes, you can edit the entry in the Time Log.
Now you can go ahead, click on Finalize Payroll and simply confirm.
To check the past payroll history, click on the Payroll tab on the main menu and select Past Payroll from the drop-down menu. You have the list of the finalized payrolls as per pay periods. You can see the pay period, total and the estimated wages.
Click on the pay period you wish to export, now click on the three dots next to the filter. Here you have the option of exporting the data in PDF, Excel or in ADP/ Gusto/ Paychex compatible format. Now, ADP/Gusto/Paychex compatible files are now saved to your system which can later be uploaded to the software. For the Quickbooks, the data is directly sent to it, all you need to do is confirm it.
Note: You can email this payroll report in total or payroll by day, print it, or export it.
- The Payroll Totals report shows you the total hours for the specified time for the guards without showing the split-up of the hours.
- The Payroll By Day report shows you the day-wise split of total hours for the specified time for the guards.
