Time log gives you an insight into the check-in/out times of the guards on the client post sites. It lists down the details of all the shifts and breaks in chronological order. In case the guard had different shifts on the same site on a day, details for all shifts and the breaks included will be shown separately.
This helps you monitor guard punctuality and implement schedule compliance.
To check the time log click on the Time Clock on the main menu and select Time Log. On the next screen, you see a list of the time log entries registered in the system. At the top of the Time Log page, a dashboard presents important statistics such as pending shift hours, approved shift hours, total shift hours, and corresponding figures for break hours, providing a clear summary of productivity and approval status.
Filters can be applied to refine the entries based on client, post site, guard, skill set, department, entry type (shift, break, or both), and date range. To filter, click the Filters button on the right, choose your options, and click Filter at the bottom.
To view details or add comments to an entry, select the checkbox next to it and scroll down to find the clock-in, clock-out, and overtime notes along with a comment section, where you can write a note and click Save Comment.
You also have the option to approve or disapprove a time log entry; the approved shifts are included in the timecard and will be ultimately included in the total guard hours. To approve, simply click on the Pending button and disapprove by clicking on the Approved button, and confirm.
